Key Responsibilities\nAs a Mental Health Therapist, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

- Conducting comprehensive assessments to measure the severity, frequency, and impact of mood disorder symptoms in clients. \n
- Developing personalized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, addressing their unique needs and therapeutic goals. \n
- Implementing evidenced-based interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to enhance client outcomes. \n
- Educating clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care strategies to foster resilience. \n
- Regularly monitoring client progress and adjusting treatment plans when necessary to align with evolving needs. \n
- Collaborating with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to mental health care. \n
- Staying informed about the latest advancements in mood disorder treatments to continuously enhance your skills and methodologies. \n
- Maintaining precise and confidential documentation of client interactions and treatment history. \n
- Participating in team meetings, case consultations, and professional development opportunities. \n
- Advocating for clients' mental health and promoting awareness of mood disorders to reduce societal stigma. \n
Your primary focus will be on clients facing mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. You will work with a diverse clientele, helping them navigate their challenges through compassionate and effective therapy. Your expertise will guide clients as they seek to improve their mental health and overall quality of life.
Qualifications\nThe ideal candidate will possess:

- A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution. \n
- Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Texas. \n
- Strong communication skills and the ability to establish empathy-driven rapport with individuals from varied backgrounds. \n
- In-depth understanding of psychopharmacology and how it intersects with therapeutic practices. \n
While not mandatory, the following qualifications are preferred:

- A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience specializing in mood disorders. \n
- Proficiency in evidence-based therapies like CBT and DBT. \n
- A proven track record of achieving positive outcomes in mood disorder treatment. \n
