Preschool Assistant/Aide Afternoon

About This Role The Manor Schools are committed to developing a love of learning for all our students through a unique individualized curriculum! We are currently interviewing for afternoon staff for the following schedules:

M-F 11:45-5:45

M-F 12:00-5:30

Candidates should exhibit creativity and adaptability to effectively engage and keep the attention of their young students. The ability to communicate clearly with students and their parents is also a vital quality, along with patience and the energy necessary to keep up with small children on a daily basis. What You'll Do Assist in the implementation of curricula activities and encourage participation by children. Actively engage in activities; manage cleanliness, maintenance, and availability of classroom materials. Encourage self‑help and good hygiene through behavior modeling. Help ensure smooth, daily transition from home to child care center. Follow all center policies and state regulations. Maintain personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement. Requirements Experience working with children. High energy. Ability to work well with others.
