Lead Technician

Lead TechnicianReports To: Owner Position Type: Hourly, 32 hours/week, $25-$30/hourPosition Summary/Purpose:We're looking for a Lead Technician to help deliver high-quality restoration services while supporting day-to-day field operations. This role is responsible for executing jobs, setting the standard for quality, and helping guide technicians in the field. The candidate will be supported with company tools and systems for job tracking, reporting, and communication. As a growing company, this role plays a key part in building strong systems, maintaining quality, and supporting team development.Primary Responsibilities:Service DeliveryPerform advanced carpet cleaning and restoration servicesAssess job scope in the field and support accurate estimate development for restoration and cleaning servicesLead jobs in the field and ensure work is completed to company standardsInspect work to ensure quality and completenessCustomer ExperienceCommunicate clearly and professionally with customersAddress questions or concerns on-siteEnsure a positive overall experience from start to finishTeam Support & LeadershipLead by example in work ethic, quality, and professionalismSupport and guide technicians on job sitesReinforce company standards and best practicesAssist with onboarding and training of new techniciansOperations & AccountabilityComplete accurate work orders, logs, and documentation using company systems and standardized checklistsSupport the coordination of daily scheduling to ensure efficient job flowMaintain equipment, tools, and vehiclesFollow company procedures and checklists to support efficient job execution, supply readiness, and workflow consistencyStay flexible and assist wherever needed as the company growsProvide proactive updates on job status, delays, and field conditions to support real-time scheduling and customer communicationThe Ideal Candidate Is:Experienced in cleaning and/or restoration work and confident leading jobsA strong example-setter who leads through actions, as well as directionComfortable with hands-on work and problem-solving in the fieldReliable, accountable, and takes ownership of resultsA clear communicator with both customers and team membersEager to grow and help build a strong team and operationMinimum Qualifications:1–3 years of experience in construction, cleaning and/or restorationHigh school diploma or GED requiredIICRC certifications (e.g. WRT) are preferred but not required. We will provide training and support for the right growth-minded candidate to obtain certificationsComfortable using mobile devices for job reportingValid driver's license with clean DMV record requiredA candidate with a General Contractors license will receive a bonusCompensation:Base Pay + Bonus/Commission tied to performancePaid training and certificationsFast growth opportunities as the company expandsThis is an opportunity to step into a leadership role early and help shape how we operate as we grow.
