Job Title Travel Nurse RN Oncology – Atlanta, Georgia Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Oncology Discipline: RN Start Date: 07/06/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Requirements Active RN License Degree from accredited nursing program BLS & ACLS Certifications Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Oncology setting Other requirements to be determined by client facility Duties & Responsibilities The Oncology RN will provide care for critically and chronically ill cancer patients. Responsibilities include administering chemotherapy, implementing new symptom‑treatment methods, monitoring patient progress, and educating patients about treatment options and procedures. Provide care for cancer patients throughout all stages of their conditions, focusing on the acute phase. Assist patients ranging from post‑surgical to near‑terminal, managing disease and treatment effectively; may be responsible for administering chemotherapy. Educate cancer patients about treatment options, procedures, and disease specifics.
