Pre-Doc Psychology Intern-LT

Job Summary Provide full-time service to Georgia Tech students in the form of individual and group counseling through the Counseling Center. Provide face-to-face counseling for students in addition to outreach and emergency coverage for mental health needs of the campus. Provide psychological assessment for students. This position will interact on a consistent basis with staff psychologists, students, faculty, and staff. This position typically will advise and counsel students. This position will supervise: NA. Responsibilities Individual and group counseling, couples counseling, and emergency coverage for the Counseling Center Provide training and supervision for graduate trainees After hour crisis management and emergency coverage Campus outreach and consultation Perform other duties as assigned Required Qualifications Educational Requirements: Doctoral coursework and qualifying examination passed Other Required Qualifications: Applicants for this job are typically in their final year of graduate training for the Ph.D. in psychology Required Experience: Five hundred hours of face-to-face contact in psychological treatment Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Training in psychological assessment and therapy. Knowledge of psychological theory and therapeutic interventions for the treatment of mental health concerns. Salary, Location, and Position Details Salary range: $35,360.00 per annum Location: Atlanta, GA Job grade: A1 This is not a supervisory position. This position does not have financial responsibilities. No, this position will not be required to drive. This role is considered a position of trust. This position does not require a purchasing card (P-Cd). This position will not travel. This position does not require security clearance.
