Role Description Subcontractors at Cs Builders will support residential construction projects through on-site trade work and coordination with project managers and other construction professionals. Day-to-day tasks may include performing assigned trade services (such as carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, drywall, or finishing work), following project plans and specifications, and ensuring work meets quality and safety standards. Subcontractors will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work area, complying with all site safety protocols, and communicating any issues or delays to the appropriate Cs Builders contact. This is a full-time, on-site role located in the San Francisco Bay Area, requiring reliable attendance, collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams, and adaptability to changing project needs. Qualifications Proven experience as a subcontractor or skilled trade professional in residential construction (e.g., carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, concrete, painting, or general labor). Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and building codes, with the ability to follow detailed instructions and project plans. Commitment to safety practices, including familiarity with OSHA standards, proper use of tools and equipment, and adherence to site safety procedures. Reliable transportation to San Francisco Bay Area job sites, ability to work full-time on-site, and capability to perform physically demanding tasks. Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to coordinate work with project managers, other subcontractors, and site supervisors. Demonstrated professionalism, punctuality, and attention to detail, with a focus on delivering high-quality workmanship within designated timelines.
