Phlebotomist

LabCorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team at 1695 N Sunrise Way, Palm Springs, CA 92262. Work Schedule Monday – Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with rotating weekends. Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other diagnostic studies. Perform accurate and timely data entry of patient information. Process billing information and collect payments when required. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Support administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when needed; reliable transportation required. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. California state-issued Phlebotomy license (CPT). Preferred Qualifications Minimum of 3 months' experience as a phlebotomist. Additional Job Standards Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Exceptional customer service skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently or in a team environment. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Pay Range $21.00 – $33.00 per hour.
