Unit Details: Staffing & Scheduling Scheduling Type: - Patient Ratios Days: 5 Patient Ratios Nights: 6 Patient Ratios Weekends: - Float Required: - Call Required: - Weekend Coverage: True Number of Weekend Shifts Per Contract: - Pre-Approved Time Off: - Orientation Hours: 36 Facility & Patient Care Details Patient Age Groups: Adults, Geriatrics Daily Census: - Number of Visits Per Day: - Number of Rooms: - Number of Beds: 36 Additional Unit Information Interdisciplinary Support: Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Interpretation Services, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy, Transportation, Unit Secretary Patient Diagnoses: mainly respiratory and cardiac, but varies greatly Special Procedures/Unit Details: telemetry unit, utilizing RNs, LPNs, PCAs. Ratios increased with RN/LPN/PCA model. Take majority of patients except patients on ventilators and blood pressure support drips. Special Equipment: - #Tier3 Travel Compliance

Candidates must complete fingerprint registration and Childline as soon as they sign contract. Detailed instructions will be sent to the candidate by the Credentialing team. References: 1 supervisory reference within the past year required with submission Candidate must complete lab work within 72 hours of signing contract. Any previously permanent employment at Penn Highlands Healthcare must be included in the candidates employment history at the time of submission. Perm or Per Diem employees must be away for 18 months before returning as travelers (applies to all facilities).
