CalAIM Compliance Data Analyst

Job Description and Duties

Effective July 1, 2025in accordance with the applicable Memorandum of Understanding, the Personal Leave Program 2025 (PLP 2025) was implemented in response to the status of the State budget. PLP 2025 requires each full-time employee in Bargaining Unit R01 , and related Excluded, Exempt and Statutory Exempt employees, will have their base salary reduced by three percent and will receive five PLP 2025 leave credits monthly through June 2027 . Salaries do not reflect the recent changes.

Analyst II

Under the direction of the Chief, California Advancing and Innovating Medi-Cal (CalAim) Compliance Unit, the Analyst II performs the more complex data analytical work for CalAIM to support program operations, research evaluations, and CalAIM compliance. The incumbent will monitor CCHCS’ ongoing process improvements and operations of CalAIM by conducting internal audits and preformatting trend analysis to identify compliance gaps in billing, reimbursement, or documentation. The incumbent will analyze data, develop reports, and make recommendations to management regarding administrative and program-related problems and solutions. The incumbent must demonstrate ethical behavior and work cooperatively with others. Travel may be required.

Analyst I

Under the Supervision of the Chief, CalAIM Compliance Unit, the Analyst I performs the less complex data analytical work for CalAIM to support program operations, research evaluations, and CalAIM compliance. The incumbent will monitor CCHCS’ ongoing process improvements and operations of CalAIM by conducting internal audits and preformatting trend analysis to identify compliance gaps in billing, reimbursement, or documentation. The incumbent will analyze data, assist with developing reports, and making recommendations to management regarding administrative and program-related problems and solutions. The incumbent must demonstrate ethical behavior and work cooperatively with others. Travel may be required.

The position(s) is eligible for hybrid telework, in accordance with the Statewide Telework Policy and will be required to report to the office as needed/required. The successful candidate must reside in California upon appointment.

• Experience researching, interpreting and applying federal and state laws, regulations, policies and program requirements to conduct data-driven compliance monitoring and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
