Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

$2731.97/week - Job Summary: Experienced registered nurse specializing in labor and delivery is sought to provide comprehensive care for mothers and newborns in a rural Family Birth Center. The RN will deliver patient-centered, compassionate care across labor, postpartum, and newborn services, ensuring safety and positive outcomes. Responsibilities: Assess and monitor patients throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum periods. Administer medications and interventions as prescribed, ensuring patient safety. Utilize fetal monitoring to assess fetal well-being during labor. Educate patients and families on childbirth, postpartum care, and newborn care practices. Collaborate with medical team to develop and implement individualized care plans. Document all clinical assessments, interventions, and patient progress accurately. Qualifications: Hold a valid California RN license, uploaded within the last 2 weeks. Possess at least 2 years of experience in labor and delivery nursing. Maintain current ACLS, BLS, NRP, and fetal monitoring certifications with valid expiration dates. Demonstrate adaptability and clinical confidence in a fast-paced, rural setting.
