Human Resources Specialist II | Professional Administrative & Management Support Services (PAMSS) ProSidian seeks a Human Resources Specialist II | Professional Administrative & Management Support Services (PAMSS) for program support on a full-time, exempt W2 basis, working on-site at a client site in Idaho, United States. This role supports DOEID, overseeing nuclear energy research, cleanup, and lab operations, advancing national energy and environmental missions. We seek Human Resources Specialist II | Professional Administrative & Management Support Services (PAMSS) candidates with relevant federal energy and nuclear sector experience to support professional services engagement for federal energy and nuclear sector clients such as DOEID. This is a full-time ProSidian W-2 professional administrative and management support services (PAMSS) functional area/swim lane/category discipline position with commensurate benefits and competitive salary. Job overview: Provide services and support as a Human Resources Specialist II in the federal energy and nuclear industry sector, focusing on management and operations solutions for clients such as the Department of Energy (DOEID). This role is generally located in Idaho, United States, and across the United States - Mountain West Region region, working on-site at a client site. Provides HR services such as staffing, classification, employee relations, and benefits administration. Professional administrative and management support services (PAMSS) deliver integrated administrative, analytical, and operational support enabling efficient, compliant, mission-focused organizational performance. HR specialist (mid) mapped to mid administrative specialist due to schedule constraints. Professional HR services enabling compliant workforce management. Responsibilities and duties Provides mid-level human resources support, including benefits counseling, processing HR actions (e.g., FEGLI, FEHB administration), and assisting with new hire orientation and separation processing. Responds to HR inquiries and helps maintain HR records and systems. May serve as telework/remote work coordinator or wellness program administrator. Staffing, classification, employee relations, benefits administration. The role(s) are located in the United States - Mountain West Region region, at or near United States (Idaho). Initially identified work site address (working on-site (client site): U.S. Department of Energy - Idaho Operations Office (DOE-ID) Office of Nuclear Energy | 1955 Fremont Avenue Idaho Falls, ID 83402 Qualifications Desired qualifications for human resources specialist II | professional administrative & management support services (PAMSS) candidates: 4-6 years HR experience in federal environment Bachelor's degree in human resources management, business administration, or a related field + 3 years relevant HR experience. Equivalency: Associate's degree + 5 years relevant HR experience; OR 7 years relevant HR experience. Relevant professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, HRCI-PHR) is preferred. Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field 4-6 years HR experience in federal environment This position aligns with functional and technical requirements in the federal energy & nuclear sector and human resources specialist II candidates principally support professional administrative & management support services (PAMSS) functional area/swim lane/category disciplines. Skills required: Primarily focused on management and financial consulting, acquisition and grants management support, and business program and project management services initiatives and aligned with program support activities professional administrative & management support services (PAMSS) functional area activities. Strong knowledge of federal HR policies and benefits programs; excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to interpret and apply HR regulations; proficient in HR information systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
