AUTOMOTIVE SERVICE ADVISOR

A+ Auto Centers — Fort Worth, TX

A+ Auto Centers is looking for an experienced Automotive Service Advisor to join our team!

We are looking for a motivated, professional, and customer-focused Service Advisor who can communicate clearly with customers, understand their vehicle concerns, and help guide them through the repair process.

The ideal candidate will have automotive knowledge, excellent communication skills, strong sales ability, and the ability to work in a fast-paced repair shop.

Job Type: Full-Time
Location: Fort Worth, TX
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Pay: Competitive salary + performance-based incentives

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Greet customers and provide a professional, friendly experience
• Listen carefully to customers' vehicle concerns and accurately document them
• Perform vehicle walk-arounds and identify obvious maintenance or repair concerns
• Prepare repair orders and communicate recommended services
• Review technician findings and explain repairs to customers in an easy-to-understand manner
• Prepare accurate estimates and obtain customer authorization before work is performed
• Communicate repair costs, timelines, and updates throughout the repair process
• Recommend necessary maintenance and repairs based on vehicle condition
• Follow up with customers regarding declined or recommended repairs
• Maintain strong relationships with customers and encourage repeat business
• Coordinate with technicians to ensure repairs are completed properly and on schedule
• Monitor repair progress and keep customers updated
• Review completed repairs and invoices with customers
• Handle customer questions and concerns professionally
• Maintain accurate and complete repair-order documentation
• Help maintain an organized and professional front office
• Meet individual and shop sales and customer-service goals

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous automotive Service Advisor experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of automotive systems and common repairs
• Excellent customer-service and communication skills
• Strong sales and negotiation abilities
• Ability to explain automotive repairs to customers without using excessive technical jargon
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy shop
• Comfortable using computers and automotive shop-management software
• Professional appearance and attitude
• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
• Ability to work well with technicians and other team members
• Valid driver's license
• ASE Service Advisor certification is a plus
