RN - PCU

Registered Nurse - ICU / Progressive Care

We are seeking qualified candidates for a Registered Nurse position specializing in ICU and Progressive Care. This role requires a strong background in critical care nursing and the ability to handle complex patient needs in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in an ICU setting.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, responding to changes in status.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Manage and care for patients with advanced life support systems.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families on health management and care protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in ICU and Progressive Care.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• NIH Stroke Scale certification.
• Experience with chest tubes, trauma surgeries, and other critical care procedures.

Schedule

This position is for Night shifts.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
