We are looking for an energetic people person to join our Human Resources Team.

Qualifications

• Human Resources experience preferred
• Strong organization and time management/project management skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Excellent communication skills to facilitate work with diverse groups of employees
• Demonstrated skills in employee relations with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Exhibits sound judgment and discretion in dealing with sensitive and confidential situations and information
• Possess a committed work ethic that values punctuality and attendance
• Ability to work night and weekend hours on rare occasions

Responsibilities

• Oversees recruitment, hiring and staffing efforts
• Process’s new hire paperwork, conduct employee onboarding and pre-employment screening
• Identify and resolve compensation and benefits issues
• Supports processes, such as, FMLA/LOA and Workers Compensation
• Help coordinate and execute company functions
• Answers and responds to phone calls and e-mail inquires
• Contribute as a standing member of the Safety Committee and support the Plant Manager in promoting safety
• Administer employee reimbursement based benefits programs
• Regularly engages and interacts with employees on the plant floor through frequent “Shop Walks”
• Performs other duties as assigned
