Tech - Cath Lab/EP

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provides specialized support in cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures within the Cath Lab. Ensures safety, sterile technique, and accurate documentation throughout cardiac interventions.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and verify sterile supplies and equipment for procedures.
• Set up patient and equipment, applying sterile technique to maintain infection control.
• Monitor and record procedural data, including fluoroscopy time and radiation exposure.
• Assist in applying monitors, preparing access sites, and ensuring patient comfort.
• Maintain procedural logs and document all relevant data accurately.
• Follow radiation safety protocols, wear dosimeters, and evaluate safety reports.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited radiology or cardiovascular technology program with verification.
• Hold current AART and Wisconsin State Radiology Technologist licenses.
• Certified as a Cardiovascular Technologist.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Demonstrate proficiency in sterile technique and radiation safety.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols.
