This is a critical leadership role responsible for architecting and delivering foundational platform services while establishing engineering excellence standards that will scale across the organization.As a Sr Manager, Software Engineering at JLL Technologies, you will have below responsibilities:Technical Leadership & ArchitectureDesign and deliver Services Architecture for enterprise-scale data platform capabilitiesLead development of Common Search & Create functionalities and standardized CRUD operationsEstablish consumption patterns and data governance services that enable organization-wide adoptionDrive architectural decisions that balance immediate delivery needs with long-term scalability requirementsEngineering Culture TransformationElevate software engineering practices, standards, delivery velocity, and driving efficiency using AI across the data teamImplement modern DevOps practices, AI tools adoption, code quality standards, and sustainable development processesMentor senior engineers and establish cross-functional collaboration patternsBuild engineering practices that support platform reliability and organizational growthStrategic DeliveryTranslate business requirements into executable technical roadmaps with clear milestonesEnsure timely delivery of critical platform components while maintaining engineering excellenceEstablish reusable services and patterns that accelerate future development initiativesDrive adoption of platform capabilities across multiple organizational teamsWhat we are looking for:8+ years software engineering experience with 3+ years in leadership rolesStrong programming background with expertise in Python, Java, Scala, or similar languages used in software applicationsExtensive experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies including Agile, DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and release managementProven expertise in modern data platform architecture, microservices and distributed systemsExperience with search technologies, API development, data governance frameworks, and service deploymentTrack record of transforming engineering organizations and establishing technical excellence in data domainsExperience leading cross-functional teams and driving organizational change initiativesKnowledge of AI frameworks, cloud services, and readiness to adopt and adapt to new market capabilitiesHands-on experience with version control systems, automated testing frameworks, and production deployment strategiesHands-on experience with AI technology stack and real estate industry background preferredWhat you can expect from us:You’ll join an entrepreneurial, inclusive culture.
