Desktop Support Specialist

Job Description Job Title: Desktop Support Technician Location: 100% Onsite Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Pay Rate: $29/hour Duration: 1 year, with extensions based on client need and performance Provide onsite and remote IT support for end users, including desktop computers, laptops, peripherals, and mobile devices. Support customer-focused technology projects involving mobile devices, IT applications, and end-user computing hardware. Manage day-to-day IT operations independently and provide 2nd-level technical support for field-based and specialized environments, including GxP, laboratory, and R&D spaces. Troubleshoot incidents across network and system infrastructure, take ownership through resolution, and provide technical guidance to business groups on effective use of existing IT tools and technologies. Education High School Diploma required Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred Valid Driver's License required Required Skills 2+ years of desktop support for PCs, laptops, and peripherals 2+ years of onsite and remote technical support 2+ years supporting mobile devices; Apple devices preferred 2+ years of hands‑on 2nd-level IT support ITIL v3 processes within an IT service delivery environment Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint Incident troubleshooting across network and system infrastructure End-user computing hardware and IT application support Support for specialized environments such as GxP, laboratories, and R&D Ability to lift 50 pounds Preferred Skills Digital Workplace consulting experience Experience supporting mobile and end-user computing projects Technical consultancy for business functions and workflow/process improvement Experience supporting regulated or specialized IT environments #J-18808-Ljbffr
