Job Title Mammography Technologist Location Monmouth Medical Center, 300 Second Avenue, Long Branch, NJ 07740 Department Breast Cancer Center Status and Shift Per Diem, Day Pay $51.00 per hour Pay Transparency The above reflects the anticipated hourly wage range for this position if hired to work in New Jersey. The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience. Responsibilities Perform routine and advanced mammography procedures within the scope defined by regulatory and departmental standards. Perform routine and diagnostic mammography exams and breast biopsies as required. Provide dexa scan procedures and general x-ray (preferred but not required). Maintain current continuing education credits as required by the FDA/MQSA and ACR. Cover at any of our locations as needed and be flexible to work at other off-site locations for the JW Breast Centers if required. Qualifications Experience required in mammography. Current valid certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) for radiography and mammography and holds a valid New Jersey State license. Knowledge of quality control for all mammography equipment preferred. Must be certified in Basic Life Support (BLS). Dexa scan procedures and general x-ray would be preferred but not required. All technologists may be required to cover at any of our locations as needed. Requirements Must be certified in BLS and hold a valid New Jersey State license.
