Medical Director Physician

Medical Director Needed at Outpatient Only Clinic setting north of Buffalo, New York. Must be BC in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine and preferably held some administrative capacity work in the past plus 4 or more years experience in outpatient setting since finishing residency. The job requires doing clinical patient work as well as overseeing the outpatient clinic setting with small staff including APPs and nurses. The majority of the patients are chronic disease and there are no children patients at this practice setting. Work Monday- Friday 8 to 4:30 seeing less than 14 patients per day. There are two slots left open for an additional 2 patients for walk-ins or see the same day. There is Admin block time. NO call and NO weekends. All admissions sent to hospitalist services. Salary base plus a percentage of incentive based upon quality measures. Also, needs to be capable of doing women's health exams. Takes 90 days for credentialing. Must hold New York licensure before credentialing starts. Starting salary can be negotiated based on years of experience. This is in upstate NY close to Saratoga Springs, NY. Board Certified or Board Eligible Medical Doctor with or w/o US residency with current US work visa.
