Lead End User Computing (EUC) Engineer

Job Description:Position Summary This position is based on site and requires four days per week in the Brea office to support collaboration and business needs.We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead End User Computing (EUC) Engineer to join our Global IT support organization in Brea, California. This role will serve as a senior technical leader responsible for delivering and enhancing the digital workplace experience across the enterprise (globally). The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in endpoint engineering, device management, automation, virtual desktop technologies, software deployment, and modern workplace solutions. This position plays a critical role in driving the strategic direction, operational excellence, standardization, automation, and governance of the global EUC environment while partnering closely with Managed Service Providers (MSPs), infrastructure teams, security teams, and business stakeholders. The lead EUC Engineer will help modernize and optimize the employee technology experience through scalable endpoint management solutions, automation initiatives, lifecycle management, and continuous service improvement efforts, and a scalable operating model. Key Responsibilities Endpoint Engineering & Device Management Lead the engineering, administration, and continuous improvement of enterprise endpoint management platformsDesign, maintain, and optimize Windows device imaging and provisioning processesManage enterprise laptop and workstation patching strategies to ensure compliance, stability, and securitySupport modern endpoint management initiatives leveraging Microsoft Intune and Mobile Device Management (MDM) technologiesDevelop and maintain hardware and software standards across the organizationOversee endpoint lifecycle management, including provisioning, deployment, refresh, and retirement processesSoftware Packaging & Deployment Create, test, deploy, and maintain software packages using SCCM/MECM and IntuneManage enterprise software deployment strategies and application lifecycle processesTroubleshoot deployment failures and optimize deployment automation and reportingEnsure application compatibility and alignment with enterprise standardsDigital Workplace & Employee Experience Enhance the overall digital workplace experience through proactive engineering, automation, and service optimizationPartner with IT Service Management (ITSM), Service Desk, and Field Services teams to improve employee satisfaction and service delivery outcomesDevelop scalable solutions that improve usability, reliability, performance, and operational efficiencyAutomation & Scripting Develop and maintain automation solutions using PowerShell and related scripting technologiesAutomate operational tasks, deployments, provisioning workflows, reporting, and remediation activitiesDrive operational efficiency through automation and process standardization initiativesVirtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) Support and administer Citrix and Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD)/Azure VDI environmentsOptimize virtual desktop performance, scalability, availability, and user experienceCollaborate with infrastructure and cloud teams to support hybrid workplace initiativesRemote Support & Security Tools Administer and support remote support and privileged access tools including Bomgar and BeyondTrustEnsure endpoint security standards and governance requirements are maintainedPartner closely with cybersecurity teams to support compliance and endpoint protection initiativesDocumentation & Operational Excellence Develop and maintain technical documentation, engineering standards, operational procedures, and runbooksCreate knowledge articles and operational documentation to support consistent service deliveryParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives and operational governance activitiesVendor & MSP Partnership Collaborate with Managed Service Providers (MSPs) to ensure operational alignment, accountability, and service excellenceProvide technical leadership and governance oversight for outsourced EUC support functionsDrive adherence to enterprise standards, SLAs, KPIs, and operational best practicesJob Requirements:Minimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience10+ years of experience in End User Computing, Desktop Engineering, or Workplace Technology roles in a global environment Strong understanding of modern workplace technologies and endpoint security best practices.Experience supporting enterprise-scale global environmentsProven ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues across endpoint and virtual desktop platformsRequired Skills & ExperienceMicrosoft Intune SCCM / MECM Windows endpoint management Imaging and provisioning solutions PowerShell scripting and automation Citrix and Azure VDI environments Mobile Device Management (MDM) Software packaging and deployment Endpoint patch management Bomgar / BeyondTrust Preferred Skills & ExperienceMicrosoft certifications related to Intune, Azure, Endpoint Management, or Modern Workplace technologiesExperience operating within ITIL or IT Service Management (ITSM) environmentsExperience working within a multi-vendor or Managed Services operating modelExperience supporting automation and digital transformation initiativesLeadership Competencies Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and stakeholder management abilitiesAbility to work cross-functionally across infrastructure, security, operations, and support teamsStrong sense of ownership, accountability, and operational disciplinePassion for improving employee experience through technology innovation and operational excellence#LI-BS1IND123Target Market Salary Range:Actual compensation packages take into account a wide range of factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographic location; skill sets; relevant education and certifications; depth of experience; performance; and other business and organizational needs.
