High Voltage Estimator

Substation Estimator
The Substation Estimator is responsible for estimating the cost of substation projects. This includes gathering information about the project, such as the size and complexity of the substation, the type of equipment that will be used, and the labor costs. The Substation Estimator will also need to be familiar with the local construction market and be able to factor in any potential delays or cost overruns.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction and electrical engineering, as well as experience working on substation projects. They will also be proficient in using estimating software and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities:
- Gather information about the project, such as the size and complexity of the substation, the type of equipment that will be used, and the labor costs.
- Develop an estimate for the cost of the project, taking into account all of the factors involved.
- Review the estimate with the project manager and make any necessary adjustments.
- Prepare a final estimate for the project and submit it to the client.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience working on substation projects.
- Proficiency in using estimating software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
