We need people that take accountability for their actions and pride in their work.Responsibilities:Support of customers with telephone and on-site troubleshooting and diagnosis procedureWork in an unsupervised environment to provide installation, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance services for Hermle's products at customer locations in a timely mannerIdentification of machine spare parts for quoting purposesBriefing and training of customersInstallation of retrofitsPeriodic overseas travel to Germany for learning the product line and maintaining that product knowledgeWorking with SAP-SoftwareDaily work time reporting through time management systemWeekly submission of service reports as well as expense reportsPerforms other duties and responsibilities as requestedRequirements:Experience in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues of machine toolsKnowledge of Heidenhain and/or Siemens control systemsProficient knowledge of electronic and mechanical aspects of CNC machines, preferably 5-axis machinesUnderstanding of hydraulics and pneumatics in machine toolsProficiency in using computersProfessional Interaction with CustomersMicrosoft Office knowledge is mandatoryPreferred locations: Milwaukee, WI / Phoenix, AZ / NC or SC / Windsor, CanadaExtensive travel is required (including international)
