SME Software Engineer

OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Software Developer to support the development, enhancement, and maintenance of enterprise classification tools and applications.The Software Developer will work across a diverse technology stack that includes Java, Spring Boot, C/C++, .NET, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, XML/SOAP, and Lotus Notes. The position involves both new software development and maintenance of existing legacy applications, including desktop, web-based, and service-oriented solutions.What will you do?Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise software applications and classification tools.Develop backend applications and services using Java.Develop Java applications utilizing the Spring Boot framework.Develop classification tools using scripts, APIs, and web services.Develop and maintain Microsoft desktop and web applications using:CC++Visual Basic.NETDevelop solutions supporting Microsoft Office and Microsoft Web Office environments.Develop Java-based web services and applications utilizing Apache CXF.Deploy, configure, and support Java applications within Apache Tomcat environments.Develop and integrate applications utilizing XML and SOAP-based services.Develop JavaScript-based services supporting classification applications.Design and maintain web-based user interfaces using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.Maintain and enhance existing Lotus Notes applications.Develop classification-related functionality within Lotus Notes environments.Troubleshoot, debug, modify, and enhance existing software applications.Support both modern and legacy software environments.Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective software solutions.Develop and maintain technical documentation associated with application development and maintenance.Do you have what it takes?Active TS/SCI with PolygraphBS degree and 11-15 years of relevant experienceProfessional software development experience with Java and/or Python.Experience developing applications using Java.Experience developing Java applications using Spring Boot.Experience developing scripts and web services.Experience with JavaScript development.Experience developing web-based applications and user interfaces.Experience with HTML and CSS.Understanding of XML data and SOAP-based web services.Experience developing, maintaining, or supporting enterprise software applications.Ability to troubleshoot and maintain existing or legacy application code.
