Operations ManagerJoin a team where strong operational leadership, safety, and performance are at the core of everything we do.Position Summary: The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day field operations of the branch, ensuring efficient execution of jobs, optimal use of labor and equipment, and adherence to all safety and regulatory standards. Reporting directly to the Branch Manager, this role leads and develops field personnel, supports sales initiatives, and drives continuous improvement in operational efficiency and profitability.Key ResponsibilitiesPartner closely with the Branch Manager to oversee daily operationsLead, coach, and develop field personnel to build a strong, engaged teamCoordinate job schedules, equipment, and field resources to ensure smooth executionIdentify opportunities to improve efficiency, safety, and profitabilityCollaborate with the sales team to support customer needs and project successEnsure compliance with company standards and key operational goals, including:DOT requirementsStandard Operating Procedures (SOPs)Qualification tracking (Qual Cards)Safety initiatives and auditsEquipment maintenance and carePost-job reviews and continuous improvementOversee training plans and ensure team members have the tools and knowledge to succeedWork with the operations team to meet or exceed branch performance goals and monthly metricsQualifications5–10 years of industrial experience (rigging and/or power generation experience is a plus)Strong leadership skills with a passion for developing othersAbility to stay organized, juggle priorities, and adapt in a fast-paced environmentExcellent communication skills and a collaborative mindsetProficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)Experience training or mentoring others, both formally and on the jobAbility to pass a drug screen, fit-for-duty exam, and background checkCollege degree preferredBarnhart OffersCompetitive salary with a performance-based bonus program401(k) with company match up to 10%Company Vehicle or Vehicle AllowanceComprehensive benefits package including insurance and paid time offOpportunity to grow your career with a supportive and team-oriented culturePurpose – Barnhart is built on a strong foundation of serving others.
