Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mood disorders, analyzing the intensity, frequency, and duration of symptoms. Collaboratively design personalized treatment plans tailored to the individual needs, objectives, and preferences of each client. Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to address client concerns effectively. Educate clients and their families on the nature of mood disorders and provide insights on treatment options and self-care strategies. Monitor and document client progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to ensure optimal outcomes. Collaborate with psychiatrists and other medical professionals to provide integrated care that addresses both physical and psychological health. Stay current with ongoing research and advancements related to mood disorders to enhance treatment efficacy. Patient Population / Client Focus You will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals and families facing various challenges related to mood disorders, relationship issues, and personal growth. Your work will significantly impact their overall wellness and mental health stability, fostering resilience and a deeper understanding of their experiences. Qualifications An active and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to establish a secure and trusting relationship with clients. Demonstrated empathy and a nonjudgmental attitude towards clients' experiences and struggles. Strong organizational and time management skills to effectively handle caseloads and administrative responsibilities. Preferred Experience Experience working in a remote setting or a strong aptitude for virtual communication tools. Familiarity with evidence-based practices in mental health treatment, particularly CBT and DBT. Background in working with clients dealing with mood and anxiety disorders. Compensation and Benefits Annual salary ranging from $70,000 to $90,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
