Job Description Internship Program Overview We’re looking for students who want to learn, grow, and take a giant step early in their careers, all while making a significant impact. We offer 12‑week summer internship opportunities across various business functions. Interns will participate in executive speaker series, career development workshops, philanthropic efforts, team‑building activities, online learning, and will have a dedicated Summer Coach. Internship Opportunities Application Engineering (Full Stack) Develop across the full stack: JavaScript, Angular.js, React, HTML, CSS, and SQL. Build report interfaces and data feeds. Work in a Scrum‑based Agile development process that emphasizes coding over documentation and meetings. Design and implement simple, intuitive software that enables customers to extend and customize functionality for their business needs. Machine Learning Design natural language processing components for ServiceNow NLU capabilities by enhancing core deep‑learning algorithms. Participate in data collection, create benchmarks, and develop innovative, patentable ideas. Advance the natural language capabilities of the ServiceNow platform. Platform Engineering (Full Stack and Back End) Mentored to become a key contributor to the Cloud Platform Development group. Join the development Scrum team and work side by side to solve real business problems. Write, debug, and test using JavaScript and Java. Implement web interfaces with React, Angular, and CSS. Systems Engineering Build highly scalable Cloud Infrastructure Automation. Solve technical challenges in a collaborative, high‑energy environment. Develop in Python, JavaScript, or Go to create services and automation tools that are thoroughly specified, documented, and testable. Preferred: experience with Linux, networking, and/or container technologies. UI/UX Engineering (Front End) Build highly interactive web‑based application UIs that scale with complexity. Create tools, libraries, and frameworks for other developers. Take full lifecycle responsibility: requirements, design, coding, testing, and automation. Qualifications Full‑time student at an accredited university pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, or a related field (graduating December2025 or later). Ability to obtain and maintain US work authorization. Commitment to a 12‑week internship in Summer2025 (May‑August or June‑September). Experience with languages such as Java, C++, JavaScript, Python, HTML, or CSS. High levels of creativity and quick problem‑solving capabilities. Preferred: demonstrated software engineering experience from a previous internship, academic or personal projects, coding competitions, or publications. Compensation & Benefits Base pay for Bay Area interns: $53.13–$55.58 per hour, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation, and benefits.
