Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) position located in Derby, Kansas. This role involves providing high-quality emergency care in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on patient safety, efficient procedures, and teamwork. The assignment offers an excellent opportunity for experienced ER RNs to work in a large facility setting with modern equipment and supportive staff.

Job Details:

• Shift Schedule: Evenings, 12:00 PM to 12:00 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certifications in BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS), PALS, and TNCC; minimum of 1-year experience in Emergency Department nursing; experience in large facility environments; Meditech electronic medical record experience; ability to work in a high-paced ER setting
• Preferred Qualifications: ENPC certification; additional Meditech experience; prior travel experience or work at facilities larger than 52 beds
• Responsibilities: Performing IV starts and medication administration; assisting with sedations and pediatric care; maintaining patient safety and documentation in compliance with unit policies; scanning patients and medications consistently to meet safety standards
• Additional Information: The unit is equipped with Alaris infusion pumps and utilizes Meditech electronic health records. The staff is experienced, diverse, and capable of handling a dynamic emergency environment. The facility emphasizes quick learning and adaptability, making it an ideal setting for motivated ER professionals.
