We are seeking a detail-oriented, reliable Lawn Care Treatment Technician to join our turf management team. Unlike general landscaping, this role focuses exclusively on custom lawn health services—including fertilizing, weed control, aeration, and pest management. You will evaluate lawn conditions, execute custom chemical applications, and educate clients on achieving a healthy, lush yard.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Application Services: Apply granular and liquid fertilizers, herbicides, fungicides, and insecticides safely and accurately according to weather conditions and product labels.
• Turf Diagnostics: Evaluate lawn health, identify turf diseases, weed varieties, insect infestations, and soil compaction, and tailor treatment plans accordingly.
• Aeration & Seeding: Perform seasonal core aeration, liquid aeration, overseeding, and soil amendments (lime/sulfur applications).
• Equipment Management: Operate and maintain dedicated treatment equipment (Z-Spray machines, ride-on spreaders, liquid hose reels, and hand sprayers); ensure all chemical tanks and pumps are properly calibrated.
• Customer Education: Leave post-service call sheets for property owners detailing applied products, watering instructions, and upcoming treatment schedules.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Licensing: Valid driver’s license with a clean record (required);
• Experience: 4+ years of dedicated turf treatment, turfgrass management, or chemical application experience preferred.
• Knowledge: Familiarity with local turf species, common weeds, lawn diseases, and chemical mixing/safety protocol.
• Skills: Strong math skills for calculating application rates, chemical dilution, and square-footage areas.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to pull high-pressure chemical hoses (up to 300+ feet) and lift/carry 50 lb bags of fertilizer.
• Comfort working independently outdoors in direct sunlight and fluctuating weather conditions.
