Preoperative Pacu Registered Nurse

Preoperative PACU Registered Nurse Tampa Bay Joint & Spine is now hiring a Preoperative PACU Registered Nurse. Tampa Bay Joint and Spine Surgery Center was formed by a group of local surgeons to offer easily accessible outpatient care to Clearwater and the surrounding communities. The goal of any outpatient surgical visit is to provide the patient with a comfortable environment that focuses on their safety, supports the surgeon with the newest equipment, experienced staff, and results in a successful surgical outcome. Patients appreciate being able to recover in the comfort of their own home surrounded by family and friends. Position Tampa Bay Joint & Spine is looking to hire a PreOp / PACU Registered Nurse on a Full Time status. Required Skills: Current Florida Nursing License Current CPR, ACLS, and PALS Graduate of an accredited school of nursing Orthopedic and spinal surgery recovery experience REQUIRED Ability to recognize, evaluate, solve problems and correct errors. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, hospital staff, physicians, vendors and the public. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Demonstrates accountability, professionalism, openness, receptive to change, creativity and innovative. Excellent communication skills Ability to adapt to change quickly, strong knowledge base relative to surgery procedures and management of the surgical patient Understands principles of aseptic technique and their implementation Ability to care for patients from infancy to geriatrics Excellent teaching skills Basic knowledge of Performance Improvement ideology USPI complies with federal, state, and/or local laws regarding mandatory vaccination of its workforce.
