Medical-Surgical RN in Hollidaysburg, PA

Qualifications:

• Active and unencumbered RN license
• At least one year of recent experience in a medical-surgical environment
• Proficiency in current nursing practices and technology

• Current BLS certification

Schedule/Hours:

• Rotating shifts or as assigned per facility needs

Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with the healthcare team
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with hospital protocols and regulatory standards
• Monitor patient outcomes, report significant changes, and document all aspects of nursing care accurately
• Educate patients and families on procedures, post-discharge care, and health maintenance
• Work closely with physicians, case managers, and allied health professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized patient environment
• Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and follow all hospital policies
