Optometrist (Part-Time) — Louisville, KY
Compensation: $900 per day/visit
Start Date: ASAP Schedule: 1–2 days per month About Us Comprehensive Mobile Care (CMC) is a family-owned, mission-driven healthcare organization delivering onsite vision, dental, podiatry, and audiology services to seniors across 20+ states. For more than 25 years, we've upheld a flawless ethical and legal track record — rooted in compassion, trust, and truly patient-first care. We partner with Senior Centers, Skilled Nursing Facilities, Assisted Living Communities, and Veteran Homes to bring high-quality care directly to the residents who need it most. Our model is built to support you as the provider: we supply state-of-the-art portable equipment, handle all scheduling and billing, and provide an assistant onsite so you can focus entirely on patient care. The Opportunity We're seeking a compassionate Part-Time Optometrist to provide meaningful care to geriatric patients. This is a perfect fit for an OD looking to supplement their schedule, earn additional income, and make a direct impact on an underserved population — without any admin burden. CMC manages all logistics. You show up, deliver great care, and leave knowing you made someone's day a little clearer. What You'll Do- Perform comprehensive eye exams for seniors and underserved populations
- Diagnose and manage a range of ocular conditions
- Prescribe lenses and collaborate with facility staff to support resident needs
- Provide education on preventive eye care and condition management
- Create a respectful, comfortable, and patient-centered environment
What We're Looking For
- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree
- Active Kentucky Optometry license
- Experience with geriatric or mobile care is preferred
- Strong communication skills and a warm, empathetic approach
- Ability to work independently in facility-based environments
Schedule
- 1–2 days per month
- Weekday flexibility
- Standard 8-hour day, typically 8:30 AM–4:30 PM (No weekends)
