Insider Threat Analyst

Core4ce Insider Threat Analyst 1273-383 Core4ce is seeking a talented Insider Threat Analyst to join our team in Alexandria, VA. The ideal candidate will support the government customer in identifying and addressing insider threats throughout PFPA and WHS. Responsibilities Establish and maintain the ability to implement information-driven and risk-based detection, prevention, deterrence, response, and protection efforts to mitigate the insider threat Utilize and synchronize all appropriate DoD resources including, but not limited to, anti-terrorism (AT), law enforcement (LE), counterintelligence (CI), information assurance, privacy and civil liberties, and security to mitigate insider threats. Develop policy recommendations on mitigating insider threats to PFPA and provide general awareness on specific insider threat challenges facing the DoD. Provide personnel and information security expertise to integrate physical, information, User Activity Monitoring, and personnel security planning as the team develops the lifecycle concept, capability, policy, procedures governing the Insider Threat Hub. Review and evaluate reports of adverse information and recommend action. Create and provide written and verbal briefings, including recommendations on methods and initiatives to reduce risk and enhance security based on insider threat operations. Provide subject matter expertise in DoD directives and instructions involving security clearance process, specifically regarding the Adjudicative Guidelines. Provide subject matter expertise in a range of security disciplines, with an emphasis in personnel security. Provide input to leadership when vulnerabilities are identified. Support development and implementation of security measures that also protect the handling, storing, processing, and transfer of classified information. Participate as requested in the bid and proposal process for Azimuth's strategic growth initiatives. *This position is designed to be flexible, with responsibilities evolving to meet business needs and enable individual growth. Qualifications 3+ years of experience as an all-source analyst supporting tactical and/or strategic levels Bachelor’s Degree Active Top Secret / SCI Security Clearance Familiarity with data analytics tools used for Insider Threat information collection or computer networks or knowledge of other Insider Threat risk scoring data analytics tools/programs Motivated self-starter with strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to create complex technical reports on analytic findings Experience with analytical problem solving and familiar with conducting operations relating to insider threat Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite of programs Must be able to work in an office environment at a desk and computer. May travel locally within the NCR/DMV area (under 50 miles). Desired Qualifications Demonstrated experience with UAM capabilities Demonstrated experience in reporting of insider threats Familiarity with Splunk Why Work for Us?
