We're seeking a Compliance & Legal Specialist to partner with our Chief Compliance & Privacy Officer and General Counsel in advancing enterprise-wide compliance, privacy, ethics, and legal operations. What You'll Do Support and strengthen the organization's enterprise-wide compliance and ethics program Partner with leadership to develop and implement compliance policies, education, and training Monitor healthcare regulations including HIPAA, Medicare, Medicaid, CMS, OSHA, OCR, ADA, IRS, EEOC, and other regulatory requirements Coordinate compliance audits, enterprise risk assessments, and corrective action plans Assist with investigations, compliance hotline management, and regulatory inquiries Support privacy, records management, and data governance initiatives Prepare legal documentation, regulatory filings, contracts, and responses to legal requests Assist with licensing activities, renewals, audits, subpoenas, and litigation support Collaborate across departments to promote a culture of integrity, accountability, and continuous improvement Help ensure the organization remains compliant with evolving federal and state regulations What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Legal Studies, or related field preferred 2+ years of experience in healthcare or senior living compliance, legal support, risk management, or regulatory affairs Knowledge of healthcare regulations including HIPAA, Medicare, Medicaid, CMS, OSHA, OCR, and related regulatory requirements Lifespace has successfully served older adults for 50 years, and this is just the beginning.
