Education Intern & Residency Program (Leadership, Nonprofit, Youth Development)

Brighter Future Cares (BFC) is seeking motivated and purpose-driven individuals to join our Education Intern & Residency Program , a hands-on leadership and workforce development experience designed for young adults interested in education, nonprofit leadership, and community impact.

This is not a traditional internship.

Participants gain real responsibility, leadership experience, and the opportunity to grow into long-term roles within the organization.

About the Program

This 6-month internship and residency program provides:

• Hands-on experience within active youth programs
• Leadership development and mentorship
• Exposure to education, program management, and nonprofit operations
• Real-world experience in building and sustaining programs

Participants are placed into roles aligned with their interests and strengths and contribute directly to programs serving youth and families.

What You’ll Do

• Support program operations and events
• Participate in training and weekly check-ins
• Assist with communication, outreach, and coordination
• Work alongside leadership and program teams
• Contribute to real community impact initiatives

Unique Opportunity

Compensation

This is an unpaid internship focused on professional development and career growth .

Participants who successfully complete the program may be considered for paid contractor opportunities within Brighter Future Cares.
