Since its inception, Halo Group has been recognized for numerous awards, including: INC 5000, Future 50, 101 Best and Brightest, Michigan 50 Companies to Watch, Goldline Research, "Most Dependable Companies" by Ernst & Young, and "Entrepreneur of the Year" Finalist.Job Description• At least 4 years of experience in software development working with various technologies like Java 1.5+, Spring 3.0 or above, Web Services - SOAP or REST, JSP, Servlet, Eclipse, HTML, IBM WebSphere/JBoss Application Server, SQL. • Candidate should have exposure to Jira, Maven, and SOAP UI will be preferred. • At least 2 years of experience in Big Data technology stack HDFS (MapR distribution), Map Reduce using Java, PIG, Hive. • Knowledge of data modeling in NOSQL HBase is required. • At least 2 years of experience on Python • Candidate should have had exposure to Credit Risk domain or Fraud analytics domain • At least 2 years of experience working in Global Delivery model- i.e. onsite- offshore model. • At least 4 years of experience in SDLC methodologies such as Waterfall or Agile (preferred) • At least 4 years of experience in Project life cycle activities on development, maintenance projects. • Candidates should possess knowledge to build and configuration management related process. • Technical aptitude and experience with the software tools and techniques used in software development. • Must be able to collaborate with offshore team • Candidates should have high analytical ability and impactful communication with stakeholders. • Ability to participate into requirements analysis, estimation, development and code reviews activities. • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute any tasks with quality and track it to closure. • Experience in credit cards and Payments domain would be a plus.Qualifications• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution.
