- Must have a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- 2-3 years of customer service, reception, or business experience preferred
- Previous phone experience required
- Knowledge of basic office procedures/equipment and computer systems required
- Familiar with medical terminology and prior health care experience preferred
- Previous cash handling experience preferred
- Ensuring that patients are registered completely and accurately
- Verifying demographic and insurance information is complete and accurate
- Developing a written estimate for the self-pay or out-of-network patients within the guidelines of the No Surprise Act by working the work queues
