Base pay range $45.00/hr - $57.00/hr Position Purpose We are seeking an experienced Telemetry/Step-Down Registered Nurse (RN) to join a high-acuity cardiac and stroke overflow unit. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Provide direct patient care in a 21-bed cardiac step-down/telemetry and stroke overflow unit. Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and patient vitals. Perform lab draws and start IVs as needed. Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe and effective care. Administer medications, monitor patient responses, and document in Epic EMR. Float to other units as required. Maintain compliance with hospital policies and patient safety protocols. Requirements Active RN license in the state of Ohio (or compact). Minimum 2 years of recent Telemetry or PCU experience (required). Proficiency in Epic EMR and recent experience with lab draws and IV starts. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale (required). Flexibility to work weekends and float as needed (no block scheduling requests).
