Job Full Description The CNC Machinist will work closely with engineers, machinists, operators, and management to outline, develop, and optimize machining and manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will have solid experience of both Haas Mill & Lathe operations to set up, program, and run Haas CNC machines, produce precision parts, and troubleshoot machining issues while maintaining high quality and safety standards .
The ability to adapt to a fast-paced production shop and machining environment is required. Position Expectations:
• Set up and operate Haas mill and lathe machines for a variety of parts, including close-tolerance and complex geometries.
• Utilize industry standards in preparing detailed programs for parts and assemblies
• Select tooling and maintain library
• Load raw materials, select and install tools, fixtures, and clamping devices, and set feeds/speeds
• Operate manual lathes and mills as required
• Interface with in-house manufacturing, fabricators, assemblers, and supervisors
Position Qualifications:
• 2 years' experience in a manufacturing environment, preferred
• Strong proven technical skills with hands-on experience
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and CAD files
• Ability to use SolidWorks Key Qualifications:
• Apply manufacturing and quality assurance principles and techniques
• Recognize characteristics of material composition and manufacturability
• Good shop math skills, mechanical aptitude, and hand-eye coordination
Interpret data from various sources and generate effective solutions to problems
• Use computer skills for design, drafting, modeling, and other engineering tasks
• Communicate effectively both orally and written
• Integrate with team members on goals and objectives
• Ability to switch between tasks quickly to meet production needs
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time
• Must be able to lift, push, or pull materials up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to work and interface in a warehouse and shop environment
• Able to work in various temperature ranges and travel occasionally
Required Schedule:
• Monday through Thursday
• 6am - 4:15pm
• With overtime Medford, OR
