You'll own the day-to-day accounting functions while partnering closely with leadership to improve financial visibility, maintain accurate job costing, and support better business decisions.This role is ideal for someone who wants to make a meaningful impact now while developing into a larger leadership role as the company continues to grow.What You'll DoManage day-to-day accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll support, and general ledger maintenanceMaintain accurate job costing across multiple active construction projectsReconcile project costs and ensure financial data aligns with project budgetsAssist with month-end and year-end close processesPrepare financial reports for leadershipMonitor project budgets, identify cost variances, and provide timely reportingSupport cash flow tracking and forecastingWork closely with project managers and leadership to ensure financial accuracy across all projectsUtilize Procore and QuickBooks to maintain accurate project and financial recordsHelp improve accounting processes, documentation, and internal controls as the company growsAssist with audits, tax preparation, and compliance requirements as neededWhat We're Looking For3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in constructionStrong understanding of job costing and construction financial processesHands-on experience using Procore is strongly preferredExperience with QuickBooksAbility to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneouslyStrong Excel skillsExcellent attention to detail and organizational skillsSelf-motivated with the ability to work independentlyStrong communication skills and a collaborative mindsetDesire to grow professionally as the company continues to expandWhat Will Help You Stand OutExperience in custom home or residential constructionFamiliarity with work-in-progress (WIP) reportingExperience improving accounting processes or implementing new systemsExperience supporting budgeting and financial forecastingCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive salary based on experiencePerformance -based bonus opportunitiesHealth benefits3% Safe Harbor retirement contributionPaid time off and company holidaysLong-term career growth opportunitiesWhy Germania Construction?At Germania, you'll do more than manage financial records.
