Compliance Specialist IJoin Team Georgia and impact lives everyday while receiving a robust benefits package designed for every stage of your career!Agency: Insurance Department of the State of GeorgiaShift: Any (United States of America)Compensation Details: $54,000.00Job Description:Under general supervision, the Compliance Specialist investigates reports and complaints of criminal and non-criminal allegations with respect to insurance agents licensing.Review, classify, categorize, prioritize, and/or analyze data. Includes exercising discretion in determining data classification.Exercise judgement, decisiveness and creativity in situations involving the evaluation of information against sensory, judgmental, or subjective criteria to determine the course of action for penalties to include license revocation.Request documents and collect evidence from outside agencies and other parties.Conduct investigative interviews.Compile detailed and accurate reports of findings and make recommendations for criminal prosecution or administrative sanctions.Attend and/or testifies at court hearings as needed.Conduct research needed to generate reports, complete projects and accurately respond to questions and concerns.Attend training sessions as required to gain skills and knowledge.Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.Perform customer service functions in person, by telephone, and by mail; provides information/assistance regarding department/division services and procedures.Provide professional representation for the Agency or Division during meetings, community outreach, and public contact.Perform other related duties as assigned.Minimum Qualifications:High school diploma/GED and two (2) years of job-related experience.--Note: Some positions may require a valid driver's license.Equal Employment Opportunity EmployerThe State of Georgia does not discriminate based on race, color, national origin, sex, religion, age, disability, or other protected categories in employment or the provision of services.
