General Sonographer PRN days

Sonographer (PRN Days) We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Sonographer to join our healthcare team on a PRN basis, primarily working during daytime shifts. Key Responsibilities Perform ultrasound examinations on abdomen, vascular, OB/GYN and breast patients according to physician orders and clinical protocols Prepare patients for procedures, explaining processes and ensuring their comfort and safety Operate ultrasound equipment to capture high-quality images for diagnostic purposes Review and analyze images for clarity and accuracy, ensuring they meet diagnostic standards Maintain detailed and accurate patient records and documentation Adhere to infection control, safety protocols, and confidentiality standards Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to facilitate accurate diagnosis and treatment planning Skills and Qualifications Certification in Diagnostic Medical Sonography from an accredited program Current state licensure or registration (e.g., ARDMS or CCI) Proven experience performing ultrasound procedures, preferably in a hospital or outpatient setting Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology Excellent communication and patient care skills Ability to work independently and adapt to flexible scheduling Attention to detail and technical proficiency with ultrasound equipment Requirements Certification in Diagnostic Medical Sonography from an accredited program Current state licensure or registration (e.g., ARDMS or CCI) #J-18808-Ljbffr MORGAN COUNTY GEORGIA HOSPITAL AUTHORITY
