Baystate Health is a not-for-profit, integrated healthcare system in western Massachusetts which consists of an academic medical center, three community hospitals and the regions largest multispecialty group. We are seeking an experienced Internal Medicine Physician to join our organization. Position Highlights - The Hospital Medicine Division at Baystate Health consists of over 250 dedicated physicians & APPs practicing evidence-based medicine throughout our 4 hospitals in western MA. Baystate Medical Center, our 716-bed flagship hospital in Springfield MA, is a level 1 trauma center and tertiary care center.Our hospitalists also provide services at our community hospitals which are within a 20-45-minute radius. We offer a 3 on/4 off schedule, 12-hour shifts with rotational Saturday coverage. Excellent support from swing shift, APP cross coverage and specialty services. Our hospitalists are responsible for more than 40,000discharges annually system wide across all medical and surgical subspecialties, accounting for more than 250,000 encounters throughout our four hospitals. Qualifications: ABMS BE/BC in internal medicine. We seek physicians dedicated to a hospital medicine career. Hospitalist experience strongly preferred. The compensation ranges in the table below represent the base salaries for all positions at a given grade across the health system. Typically, a new hire can expect a starting salary somewhere in the lower part of the range. Actual salaries may vary by position and will be determined based on the candidates relevant experience. No employee will be paid below the minimum of the range. Pay ranges are listed as hourly for non-exempt employees and based on assumed full time commitment for exempt employees.
