Salary Range: $47.85 - $71.72 per hour

We are looking for a Registered Nurse to join our Pediatric Oncology team at our hospital located on the New Brunswick campus.

Required:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is mandatory.
• A minimum of one year of experience as a Pediatric RN.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Strong computer proficiency.

Preferred:

• Experience in Pediatric Oncology is highly desirable.

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Active Registered Nurse License in New Jersey.
• PALS certification is required.
• APHON Chemotherapy certification is necessary.

• Night shift, 36 hours per week.

• The Registered Nurse delivers nursing care within the framework of the Nurse Practice Act and adheres to ethical standards as outlined by the ANA code of ethics.
• Ensures safety in practice and incorporates evidence-based principles, while being aware of personal knowledge and experience levels, and takes responsibility for enhancing knowledge for self and the patient care team through effective communication and resource utilization.
• Responsible for reporting safety concerns, including hazardous conditions and medical errors.
• Maintains knowledge of the patient demographics served.
• Supervises and directs task delegation to appropriate team members and collaborates with other healthcare providers.
• Sets and evaluates priorities consistently through appropriate interventions aimed at measurable outcomes for improvement.
• Acts as an individual practitioner and interdisciplinary team manager, employing the nursing process to integrate all aspects of care and tailoring the care plan to meet specific patient needs.
