Licensure/Certifications: Active ASHA and State Licensure required

Experience: Prior experience in Long Term Care preferred

Hourly Pay Rate: $56.95

What You'll Do

• Effectively screen, evaluate, and rehabilitate patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders
• Develop and implement personalized care plans following regulatory and clinical standards
• Utilize standardized assessments and evidence-based practices for clinical interventions
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatments as needed
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and service providers
• Communicate regularly with the healthcare team regarding patient progress and treatment plans
• Complete discharge summaries and maintain accurate documentation in electronic health records
• Participate in care conferences, meetings, and required training sessions
• Support supervision and mentoring of CFYs or student SLPs
• Adhere to ASHA and state practice acts, codes of conduct, and ethics

What You Need

Required:

• Active ASHA and State Licensure
• Experience in speech therapy, preferably in Long Term Care settings
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred:

• Prior experience working with elderly patients in LTC facilities
