Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating day and night shifts, self-scheduling with balanced schedule provided to manager, 3 weekends in a 6-week schedule, rotating holidays, call requirement per census

Hours per Week: 36

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate LDRP care to mothers and newborns in a supportive community hospital setting
• Monitor and titrate critical drips including Pitocin, Magnesium, Insulin, and D10
• Interpret fetal monitoring strips and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with a close-knit team to support high-BMI, diabetic, and substance-use patients through every stage of labor and postpartum recovery
• Float within Zone 1 when needed to support sister facilities and ensure excellent patient outcomes across the region

Knowledge & Skills

• LDRP nursing expertise
• Fetal monitoring interpretation
• IV drip titration
• OBIX EFM system
• Bubble CPAP equipment
• Strong communication and teamwork

Requirements

• Active Colorado or compact RN license
• Current ACLS, NRP, AWHONN EFM, and STABLE certifications
• LDRP experience required
• Ability to titrate drips and read own fetal monitoring strips
• Willingness to take call and work rotating weekends and holidays
