Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency department setting
• Assess, triage, and prioritize patients based on acuity and clinical presentation
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as ordered by the care team
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary staff to coordinate and deliver safe, effective patient care
• Document patient assessments, care provided, and outcomes accurately in the medical record

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Texas or a compact state
• Minimum of 1 year of emergency department nursing experience
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS and other emergency-specific certifications may be required
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in a high-volume emergency environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in an emergency department setting
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems commonly used in acute care facilities
