Assistant General Manager

Job Summary: As an Assistant General Manager at McDonald's, you will be responsible for supporting the General Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant. You will lead a team to deliver exceptional customer service, ensure high standards of food quality, and drive business growth. Your role is crucial in maintaining a positive and productive work environment while achieving the restaurant's performance goals.
Key Responsibilities:
-Assist the General Manager in managing all aspects of restaurant operations.
-Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service.
-Supervise, train, and develop restaurant staff, ensuring team members adhere to company policies and standards.
-Monitor inventory levels and manage food and supply orders.
-Maintain health, safety, and sanitation standards.
-Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
-Oversee cash management, including daily cash handling and financial reporting.
-Support the General Manager in managing labor costs and optimizing scheduling.
-Participate in marketing initiatives and community events to drive business growth.
-Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
Qualifications:
-High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in hospitality, business administration, or a related field preferred.
-Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in restaurant management, preferably in a fast-food environment.
-Strong leadership and team management skills.
-Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
-Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
-Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
-Basic understanding of financial principles and restaurant management software.
-Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
