Overview RESIDENTIAL CONVEYANCING SOLICITOR/LEGAL EXECUTIVE – ENFIELD REF NO: L4L1144 Job Ref: 103175 Practice area: Property Transactions, Residential Conveyancing, Residential Property Solicitor, shared ownership Location: Enfield PQE level: 3 years+ Role: Residential Conveyancing Solicitor/Legal Executive – Enfield Responsibilities Undertake and manage a caseload of sales and purchases of freehold and leasehold properties, including new builds, shared ownership, Help to Buy, and Right to Buy transactions, as well as remortgages, lease extensions, transfers of equity and related matters. Prepare leasehold management packs and draft/negotiate deeds of covenant and licenses. Create and maintain lasting relationships with clients and third parties at all levels. Maintain a thorough and detailed approach to work and ensure compliance procedures are followed, including AML checks, client identity verification, and understanding client source of funds and wealth. Collaborate with other departments to support matters with Residential Property elements. Assist with business development, including attending social and networking events to foster new relationships. Cross-sell other services where appropriate (e.g., Will drafting alongside property matters). Utilise the firm’s case management system to store transactional correspondence and documentation and record time spent on matters. Support continuing professional development and keep abreast of developments in Residential Property law; maintain accreditation within the Law Society’s Conveyancing Quality Scheme. Qualifications & Skills At least 3 years’ experience in Residential Conveyancing. Excellent organisation, administration, and communication skills. Ability to work well within a team and build strong client relationships. Excellent communication skills and a client-focused approach.
