Department 34402 Atrium Health Pineville - Nursing: 2 West Status Full time Benefits Eligible Yes Hours Per Week 36 Schedule Details/Additional Information FT Nights, 3 12hr shifts/36hrs per week, 7p-7a Pay Range $38.20 - $57.30 Where You Will Work 2 West is a 33 bed Med/Surg Observation Unit. Our patient population includes chest pain observation, stroke work up, orthopedic surgeries such as knee replacements, asthma exacerbations, abdominal pain, dehydration, syncope, nausea/vomiting, kidney stones and respiratory illness. 2 West is a fast-paced unit that sees an abundance of discharges and admissions each day. We encourage our nurses to take part in clinical advancement which includes CNCP program and Med/Surg Certification. Expectations We’re Looking For Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association What You’ll Do As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
