Registered Nurse (RN) Qualifications & Responsibilities:

• Current Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current CPR certification
• Valid drivers license and current auto liability insurance
• Pediatric home health experience preferred but not required. New graduate RNs are encouraged to apply.
• Provide quality skilled one-on-one nursing care to pediatric clients in a home setting for 812 hour shifts allowing them to remain with their families instead of an inpatient facility
• Care for clients with serious illnesses medical complexities disabilities or those recovering from injuries or extensive surgery
• Assess client conditions during each visit including monitoring vital signs seizure activity and providing care for gastrostomy tubes (G-tubes) tracheostomies CPAP/BiPAP and ventilators
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and the individualized plan of care
• Collaborate with physicians caregivers and the interdisciplinary care team to support positive patient outcomes
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
